Sidewalk work at Concord starting April 24 (Update)

As part of the Plaza improvements at Concord Station, we will reconstruct the concrete sidewalk in the area directly in front of the fare gates on the south side of the station. The fare gates will remain open. This work will start on Tuesday, April 24 (Update), and will take approximately five weeks—these dates may change due to unforeseen circumstances.

We will fence off the construction area and create an alternate, safe, pedestrian path to the fare gates.

The fence will cause temporary changes to passenger pick-up and drop-off. We suggest using the north side of the station—there will be less curb space and some delays caused by construction work and vehicles on the south side of the station.

Pick-up and drop-off for Paratransit vehicles and people with disabilities is relocated to the north side of the station next to the newly constructed north plaza. Please see the map for the new location. Signs will be placed in and around the parking area to guide you to the new location.

We apologize for this inconvenience and appreciate your patience.
