BART and Muni team up for concert service

BART and San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) are teaming up to ensure safe, reliable public transportation tomorrow night between 16th St. BART Station and Chase Center when Dave Matthews Band fans flock to a concert at the new arena.

SFMTA and Chase Center provide free shuttle buses for concert ticket holders between the BART station and the concert site, the Muni 78X and 79X lines. The buses begin running about two-and-a-half hours before the event starts.

Of course, this service is available for all Chase Center events.

As a reminder for after the show, the last BART train from 16th St. Station to the East Bay will depart at 12:19 am and the last BART train to the Peninsula/South Bay will depart at 1:09 am.

The San Francisco Police Department and BART Police Department will have a full complement of mobile and fixed officers at 16th St. BART Station and aboard trains for the event.

BART customers can also use Embarcadero Station by transferring from BART to the Muni Metro T Third Line or S Shuttle to the UCSF/Chase Center (16th Street) platform. As a reminder, the last BART trains to the East Bay will depart Embarcadero at 12:26 am and the last BART train to the Peninsula/South Bay will depart at 1:02 am.
