Work continues to replace escalators at downtown San Francisco stations
The Market Street Escalators Renovation Project continues with three escalators being replaced in this current round of work (see table).
At Powell Street Station, a rebuilt platform escalator returned to service on August 25 and construction will take another platform escalator out of service. Work is also underway at Montgomery Street and Embarcadero stations on platform escalators.
