Parking areas at El Cerrito del Norte Station being reconfigured
In the next few weeks, the parking areas at El Cerrito del Norte will be reconfigured. More of our riders are using BART only occasionally, so we are expanding first-come, first-served Daily Fee parking to better accommodate these new commuting patterns.
A portion of the existing Reserved Parking Area by San Pablo Avenue will be downsized and converted to Daily Fee to offer Daily Fee customers an option to park on that side of the station (see map). Overall parking space count will remain unchanged.
Data shows there is still ample parking for current reserved parking uses, and staff will monitor and adjust areas as needed. If you have any questions and concerns, please reach out to [email protected].
