Take BART, VTA, Capitol Corridor to 49ers vs. Colts game at Levi's Stadium

Football fans headed to Sunday's 5:20pm 49ers vs. Indianapolis Colts game can avoid traffic headaches by taking BART and VTA to Levi's Stadium.

More frequent VTA light rail service before the game

Fans attending Sunday evening’s game can take BART to the Milpitas Station and connect to VTA light rail at the Milpitas Transit Center. VTA will begin running trains every 15 minutes beginning at 3pm Sunday. Before 3pm, VTA light rail trains will run every 30 minutes. Full information about VTA service to Levi's Stadium can be found here

Fans must make the postgame VTA/BART connection no later than 8:30pm

After the game, the final BART train will leave Milpitas Station at 9:15pm. Fans are urged to be in the queue line for VTA light rail at Levi’s Stadium no later than 8:30pm regardless of whether the game has ended or not to get to the BART station on time.

BART cannot run trains from Milpitas later than 9:15pm Sunday. BART is modifying its Sunday night service to accommodate fans in a way that doesn’t have major negative impacts to its maintenance obligations and to service on the remainder of the system. Running trains later than 9:15pm isn’t feasible at this time.

Capitol Corridor train providing special service for the game

The Capitol Corridor is providing special service for the game. To arrive at Levi's Stadium pre-game, fans can take Capitol Corridor Train 741 at its regularly scheduled arrival time at the Santa Clara-Great America Station at 3:37pm, or Train 743, which arrives after kick-off at 5:38pm. For the return in the Oakland/Sacramento direction, Capitol Corridor Train 748 will hold at the Santa Clara-Great America Station until 9:00pm and finally arrive in Sacramento at 11:57pm. Full information about Capitol Corridor service to Levi's Stadium can be found here

What you need to know about parking

Parking at BART stations is free on Sundays except for parking at the Milpitas and Berryessa stations, which are managed by VTA. To avoid waiting for pay kiosks at these transit centers, VTA recommends paying in advance for parking permits. Full details about parking payment options at Milpitas and Berryessa can be found here.
