Escalator at Oakland International Airport out of service for repairs

Beginning today, one of the two escalators at Oakland International Airport Station is out of service so crews can replace a handrail chain.

The unit is expected to be out of service for at least 3 weeks.

The second escalator at the station will remain operating in the "UP" direction.

Customers can use the stairs or nearby elevator as alternatives.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.
