Appropriations Limit for Fiscal Year 2023 Notice of Documentation for Review and Time of Meeting

Notice is Hereby Given That:

A. Documentation used in determining the District’s appropriations limit for the fiscal year July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023 will be available for public review on and after May 11, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. at the Office of the District Secretary, Tenth Floor, 2150 Webster, Oakland, California.

B. At its scheduled meeting on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. in the Board Room, 2150 Webster Street, First Floor, Oakland, CA 94612, the Board of Directors will address the District’s appropriations limit for Fiscal Year 2023.

In the event that Executive Order N-29-20 is in effect and the Board of Director re-authorizes the District's legislative and subordinate legislative bodies to utilize the provisions enacted by AB 361 to meet remotely with teleconferenced meetings during a re-proclaimed emergency, the meeting will be held be held via teleconference only and public participation will be via teleconference only.  Log-in instructions for a teleconferenced public hearing will be available on the BART website (www.bart.gov).

Please note that the Board of Directors may decide to hold the meeting and have public participation utilizing a hybrid model both in-person and remotely.  The public should check the Board Agenda located on the BART website ahead of the meeting to determine how/where meeting will be held, and how to participate. (www.bart.gov).

We strongly encourage public comments to be submitted via email. You may submit comments via email to [email protected], using “public hearing” as the subject line.  Your comment will be read into the record and will become a permanent part of the file.  Please submit your comments as far in advance as possible.  Emailed comments must be received before 9:00 a.m. in order to be included in the record.
