North Berkeley Station access roads blocked at Delaware St. 9/19 and 9/20

The City of Berkeley will be repaving Delaware Street on Monday, September 19 and Tuesday, September 20, 2022.  During this time the East Drive and West Drive access roads within the BART station will be blocked off at Delaware Street.  Traffic circulation changes within the BART station area will include the following (see map):

  • The southeast parking lot will be closed
  • Passenger Loading users will be directed to exit the station by circulating through the northeast parking lot and back to Virginia St.
  • Accessible Loading will be relocated to the northeast parking lot, in the spaces closest to the pedestrian crosswalk, adjacent to East Drive and the Taxi zone.
  • AC Transit Line 604 will be relocated to southbound Sacramento St. at Virginia St.
  • Shuttle stops will be relocated.  Please check with the operator of the service for where the stop will be relocated during this time.
  • Parking lots on the west side of the station can be accessed from Acton St. and Virginia St.

Thank you for your patience as the City of Berkeley completes this important work.
