Article updated May 15, 2023 to reflect that the comment period has closed.

BART is excited to announce a community Open House on Thursday, April 13 at Rockridge Station from 5:30 to 7:30 PM. The Open House will be hosted by BART staff and we encourage riders and local residents to come share your ideas for potential development at the Rockridge Station.

BART is working with the City of Oakland to advance Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) at Rockridge Station. BART's goal is to initiate developer selection by next winter and then begin the process of community outreach, design, and entitlement with the City.

The community Open House will take place in the plaza between Keith Avenue and Rockridge Station’s entrance. Participants can arrive at any time between 5:30 and 7:30 PM. Community members can learn about existing conditions of the potential TOD sites and provide feedback on goals and objectives for future housing at Rockridge Station.

For community members who were not able to attend the Open House, BART provided materials on bart.gov and allowed comment submissions by April 30th.
