Single Tracking Alert: Service to be reduced from two tracks to one from El Cerrito Plaza to Richmond stations Saturday evening, August 23, from 10:30pm-8am

Starting at 10:30pm Saturday, August 23, BART workers will need to enter the trackway to replace aging rail between El Cerrito Plaza and Richmond stations. To ensure the work can be done safely, service through the project area will be reduced from two tracks to one between those stations. Riders in the area should expect delays of 30-40 minutes. No delays are anticipated from this work when BART begins its normal Sunday service at 8am.
