Elevator Outage Options - Daly City Station

In case of an elevator outage, use the following options or contact the station agent for assistance. Agents can arrange a ride to a different station in an accessible van if needed. 

PLATFORM 1/2 ELEVATOR (ALL TRAINS/DIRECTIONS)  

• Can't enter station:    Enter BART at another station.  The closest station is Balboa Park (2 miles). 
• Can't exit station:  Continue on BART to Balboa Park Station. Then take a green or blue line train to return to Daly City.  Exit using Platform 3 elevator.

PLATFORM 3 ELEVATOR (EXIT ONLY )

*Planning your trip:  if the Platform 3 elevator is out of service, avoid taking a blue or green line train to Daly City, as these terminate at Platform 3.  Instead, take a red or yellow line train to Balboa park, then return to Daly City on a red or yellow line train to exit at the Platform ½ elevator*  

• If already on Platform 3: Press the red emergency/call button adjacent to the elevator to reach the Station Agent. The agent will arrange accessible boarding.
