Elevator Outage Options

In case of an elevator outage, use the following options or contact the station agent for assistance. Agents can arrange a ride to a different station in an accessible van if needed. 

PLATFORM 1 ELEVATOR (BERRYESSA DIRECTION)

• Can't enter station:   Take the Platform 2 elevator to the opposite platform. Go back to South Hayward and board the desired train.
• Can't exit station:  Continue on BART to Fremont and return to Union City. Exit using the Platform 2 elevator.

PLATFORM 2 ELEVATOR (RICHMOND, SFO/MILLBRAE/DALY CITY DIRECTIONS) 

• Can't enter station:   Take the Platform 1 elevator to the opposite platform. Go back to  Fremont and board desired train.
• Can't exit station:  Continue on BART to South Hayward and return to Union City. Exit using Platform 1 elevator.
