Millbrae Station changes in June/July: Rollins Rd. repaving, east entrance re-opens, shuttle stops move

Several major changes will be taking place at Millbrae BART Station for continuing construction activities.

Rollins Road Paving over 5 Weekends in June and early July: Rollins Road will be repaved in phases over 5 weekends in June and July (6/4 to 6/5, 6/11 to 6/12, 6/18 to 6/19, 6/25 to 6/26, and 7/9 to 7/10).  During these weekends there will be one-way access into the BART Garage (Parking and Passenger Loading), all vehicles must exit out the 2nd floor using Harriet Tubman Rd. and Adrian Rd. to get back to Rollins Rd. just south of Millbrae Ave.  This detour will be in place throughout each weekend.  Signage and flaggers will be in place to direct drivers.

East Entrance Re-opens June 6th, the East entrance of Millbrae Station and the sidewalk along the outside of the garage will re-open. The pedestrian detour on the inside of the garage to Rollins Road will be removed at this time.

Shuttles Move Starting June 6th as follows:

  • Commute.org shuttles that currently use the east side of the station will remain on the east side but will stop at newly completed bus bays outside the east entrance of the station: North Foster City, Burlingame Bayside will use Bus Bay B1. Burlingame Point will use Bus Bay 2.
  • Sierra Point: will move to the West side of the station, and use temporary Bus Bay 7 on California Dr.
  • Employer Shuttles: will move to the West side of the station, and use temporary Bus Bays 7 or 8 on California Dr.

There will be no change to the Commute.org (Millbrae-Broadway, North Burlingame) and SamTrans routes that currently stop on the west side of the station (see map). Please coordinate with your shuttle provider if you have any questions.

We apologize for this inconvenience and appreciate your patience.
