Take transit to Super Bowl LX events this February.
Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara is hosting the championship game on Sunday, Feb. 8, and transit is a great way to get to the stadium and other events. Find guidance below.
Jersey Day - Wednesday, Feb. 3
To celebrate transit’s role in getting fans to Super Bowl LX related events, the Bay Area transit agencies and the Metropolitan Transportation Commission are encouraging transit riders to wear their favorite jersey on transit on Wednesday, February 3.
Agencies such as BART will have staff handing out prizes to those spotted wearing a jersey during their ride, while supplies last. Any sports jersey counts. February 3 marks the first day of the Super Bowl Experience at Moscone Center and BAHC Live! San Francisco Fan Zone at Yerba Buena Gardens in San Francisco.
Super Bowl Sunday - Sunday, Feb. 8
BART will run long trains and will have extra staff and security to help get fans and families to events. Special announcements will be made on board trains about where to exit and special directional signs will be posted inside stations to help new riders.
All Bay Area transit, including BART, now accepts contactless debit/credit cards or mobile methods such as Apple Pay and Google Pay for adult fare payment. No set up required, just tap and ride. Each person needs their own card or mobile device. If family members have the same credit card number but they are on different cards and devices, they will be able to use it. Clipper is also accepted.
Plan your door to door trip using BART's Trip Planner. Itineraries will include key transfer information. You can also check Real Time Departures for the BART stations you use.
Parking at BART stations (except Milpitas and Berryessa stations) is free on weekends and after 3pm on weekdays.
All BART stations have restrooms except Pittsburg Center, 12th St./Oakland City Center, Civic Center, 16th St. Mission, 24th St. Mission, and the Oakland International Airport Station (The Coliseum Station has a restroom).
Take BART+ VTA to Levi’s Stadium:
BART serves five Bay Area counties connecting the East Bay and San Francisco to the South Bay. Take BART to the Milpitas Station and transfer using the pedestrian bridge to the VTA Light Rail Orange Line. Ride to the Great America Station to get to Levi's Stadium.
View VTA's Super Bowl LX information.
Take BART + Caltrain + VTA to Levi’s Stadium:
BART riders coming from San Francisco or San Mateo County will connect to Caltrain at Millbrae Station exiting towards West Plaza/El Camino Real to Caltrain Southbound, Platform 5. From Caltrain, connect to VTA’s Orange Line at Mountain View Station.

Super Bowl Experience and Fan Zone - February 3-7
Take BART to the Super Bowl Experience at Moscone Center and BAHC Live! San Francisco Fan Zone at Yerba Buena Gardens in San Francisco:
Take BART to Powell Street Station and use Exit B4 to Market and 4th St/Moscone Center. Montgomery Street Station can also be used to access these events, but Powell is closer and the path of travel to Moscone from the Powell Street Station’s elevator is closer and more direct.
