BART PD seeks public's help to identify person in relation to last month's stabbing at Daly City BART Station
BART PD is looking to identify the person shown in the photos below in relation to a stabbing that occurred at Daly City Station on September 17th, 2025, at approximately 3 PM. BART PD detectives are actively seeking the identity of the person depicted in these photos, as well as anyone with knowledge of the incident. Anyone with information is urged to contact the BART PD Anonymous tip line at 510-464-7011.
The stabbing last month happened outside the Daly City BART Station near the bus zone. An adult male suffered a stab wound that required hospitalization.

The BART Art Program is undertaking an effort to highlight even more local artists by inviting them to submit their existing artwork to be used in a variety of BART spaces, including stations, trains, and even BART Headquarters.
If you are a local artist aged 18+ and residing in one of the five BART counties -- Alameda, Contra Costa, San Francisco, San Mateo, and Santa Clara -- we invite you to submit your work!
The art we seek should reflect the BART system and its integral role in all of our lives in the Bay Area. We are looking not only for images of the trains, tracks, and stations -- though we know we will receive beautiful ones -- but also art that represents what makes BART the Bay and the Bay BART. How does the diverse geographies, geologies, and ethnographies you encounter on BART intertwine? How has BART influenced or inspired you as an artist?
Submissions must be made through our Submittable platform by March 23 at 11pm PDT. The total number of applications will be limited to 400 (applicants not images), so we encourage you to apply early to ensure consideration. BART will be licensing the images; this is not an artwork purchase program.

BART will operate on a Sunday schedule for Thanksgiving
BART will offer a Sunday service schedule for Thanksgiving. This means on Thursday, November 27, 2025, BART hours will be 8am-midnight with all five lines running until 9pm and three lines running from 9pm-midnight.
On Friday, November 28, we will be running regular weekday service (5am-midnight).
Free parking at BART on Thanksgiving Day
Parking will be free at all stations except for Milpitas and Berryessa/North San Jose, which are operated by the Valley Transportation Authority. All other parking rules will be enforced.
The day after Thanksgiving is not a parking holiday. Those who need to park can purchase Daily Fee parking using the official BART app. Click here for instructions to pay by app.
Parking at a BART station for your Thanksgiving trip
Airport parking can be a hassle and is always expensive, except at BART stations. We offer inexpensive multi-day parking (see options below) at many stations with easy online reservations. Purchase parking on the official BART app or pay by website.
Single/Multi-Day Reserved parking is for consecutive overnight stays of up to 20 weekdays. You will need to provide the license plate of the car you plan to drive and a phone number. Reference our guide for paying for Single/Multi-Day Reserved parking here.
Monthly Reserved parking is for stays of up to 24 hours at a time, charged on a recurring monthly basis, and provides a guaranteed space until 10am. This is not to be used while travelling for several days in a row.
Reserved parking signs are blue + white or yellow. During the holidays we experience a higher demand in Reserved parking; if there is not a reserved spot available when you arrive, park in the Daily Fee area and you will not be cited. Daily Fee parking is only allowed in the Daily Fee area.
Another option to travel to SFO via BART is to purchase Multi-Day Reserved parking and drive to Millbrae Station or San Bruno Station, then take a quick ride to SFO Airport.

How to buy BART holiday merch
There are multiple ways to purchase holiday merch:
- Railgoods.com - Shop BART’s entire merch catalogue. At checkout, you can select shipping or pickup at BART's Customer Services Center. Merchandise ships within five days.
- In person at the BART Customer Services Center – Lake Merritt Station, free and paid areas. Hours: 8:30am to 4:45pm, Monday to Friday (excluding holidays). Effective October 5, the center will be open longer for a pilot period – see below.
The story behind the sweaters
Last year, Railgoods sold nearly 3,000 sweaters. Proceeds from Railgoods sales support BART in its mission to provide safe and reliable rail service to the region.
“Riders have been asking us to bring back some of our older holiday sweater designs, and this year’s sweater does just that, making it both nostalgic for longtime fans and fresh for new customers,” said Director of BART Customer Services Erica Iñiguez-Diaz.
BART holiday sweaters are famous. We were one of the first transit agencies in the nation to sell them, and many have since designed their own.
