Over the past several months, BART Connects has shared the stories of people who rely on BART to get to the places, people, and experiences that matter to them.
An office worker using BART to reclaim her commute time and a whip up a fabulous glam along the way. A law student taking BART to fish. A LPGA golfer who relied on BART to see her hitting coach. A San Leandro poet who turned her ride into verse. A university Chancellor who got work done on his ride with time to spare to strum a tune on. Not to mention the busker who took BART all the way to the Grammys. And Nona, the BART elder, who used BART to stay connected to friends and family after giving up driving.
Their stories took us to some unexpected places and showed us just how many different ways BART can be part of someone’s life.
