Public transportation is the backbone of the Bay Area, and to recognize the many ways it enhances our communities, BART created the Transit Saves campaign. The campaign launched in 2023 with four unique art concepts and has since been refreshed with new data.
You can view the new art in the above slideshow. You will also see it in print on our trains and stations, on digital billboards around the Bay Area, and on digital advertising screens in select BART stations.
Transit Saves demonstrates why public transportation matters to the Bay Area. BART takes cars off gridlocked roads; uplifts and enables the economic engines of the region; reduces harmful pollutants that contribute to climate change; and provides access to culture, education, and community. Every day, BART carries thousands of people to school, to work, to events and experiences, and to family and friends. Accessible, reliable public transportation changes lives, and that’s exactly what Transit Saves seeks to celebrate.
