Getting to Concerts on BART

How to pay
Tap and Ride gives riders the ability to pay adult fares at BART and other transit agencies across the Bay Area using physical contactless credit or debit cards or mobile payment methods, such as Apple Pay and Google Pay.
If you want to continue using a Clipper card, take it out of your wallet or purse when you pay. To continue using Clipper on your Apple Wallet, make sure Express Mode is turned on for Clipper card. Android devices will automatically present the digital Clipper card if the user has one in Google Wallet.
Tip: Pre-load a Clipper card before the concert, or bring a physical contactless card in case your phone dies.

Safety tips
- If something makes you feel uncomfortable, move to another train car.
- The Train Operator is in the first train car; it’s a great place to sit if you are traveling alone.
- Download the free BART Watch App: it lets you send a private text to BART Police dispatch.
- For emergencies, we recommend calling BART Police dispatch at 510-464-7000; when you call 911 there is a delay because CHP will need to transfer your call to BART Police dispatch.
- For non-emergency needs you can text BART PD at 510-200-0992.
- Riders can request welfare check for someone on the train by using the BART Watch app or texting BPD. Report drug use and smoking the same way.
