Project Overview
In February 2019, the development team of The Mandela Station Partners includes MacFarlane Partners and Pacific West led by Strategic Urban Development Alliance (SUDA), secured entitlements from the City of Oakland to welcome a transit-oriented development (TOD) located on both sides of the West Oakland BART Station.
This development will include affordable and market rate homes and retail space. The West Oakland BART station development site encompasses about five acres and includes land on either side of the West Oakland BART station, on current rider parking lots.
