The Pre-Award SBSS Program has been specifically designed to assist those business who are looking to actively compete for construction projects at BART.  The Pre-Award Program is for businesses who have:

  • Never done work with BART but are looking for assistance in navigating the procurement process.
  • Competed for BART contracts in the past but are looking to increase their competitive advantage.
  • Have already been successful in winning work with BART but seek additional opportunities to grow their business.

BART’s New Headquarters (HQ) Building 2150 Webster Street, Oakland

BART HQ Turner Construction

WHAT: BART’s Office of Rights (OCR) will be facilitating additional “Virtual” matchmaking Sessions for interested firms to meet with Turner decision-makers. These ‘virtual’ sessions will be held via telephone or Zoom.

SCHEDULE:

  • September 2 and 3         Trade Package: Millwork/Glazing

  • September 7 and 8         Trade Package: General Requirements/ Steel, Misc Iron

  • September 9 and 10       Trade Package: Acoustical Ceiling/Doors, Frames and Hardware

  • September 16 and 17     Trade Package: Painting/Flooring/Ceramic Tiles/Signage

STRUCTURE: Each participating Small Business will be provided with a 10-minute time slot to introduce themselves to Turner decision-makers. Each trade package matchmaking.

CharisTech is a Woman-Owned Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE & WBE) located in Alameda County.   With more than two decades of expertise, CharisTech provides Quality Management, Quality Assurance, Independent Third Party Engineering Estimates, Systems Documentation, and Reviews to public agencies and construction firms involved in infrastructure, rail, transit, and transportation projects throughout California.   CharisTech has engaged with the SBSS Pre-Award Program in the following areas:
