Rebuilt escalator opens at Montgomery St., connecting platform to concourse
A second rebuilt escalator is open at Montgomery Street Station. The new escalator is more reliable, features bright LED lighting and is more energy efficient, with a “sleep mode” that saves electricity when no passengers are using it.
